Come Fly With Us: An Unforgettable Adventure in Limpopo
We never know where the road (or the sky) will take us next, and that’s the beauty of it. This time, it led us to the heart of Limpopo, where we met photographer Lotty H., who we first built a connection with through Instagram. In a world where social media often feels overwhelming, we’re endlessly grateful for the incredible people it has connected us with. Lotty was staying deep in the bush at Ant’s Nest, a stunning farm in Limpopo, and when she invited us to visit, we decided to take a leap of faith and make the 18-hour drive.
The Journey to Limpopo
Driving to Limpopo was an adventure in itself: dusty roads stretching for kilometres, endless landscapes, and that unmistakable feeling of freedom that only a road trip can bring. It was the perfect opportunity to put our ROF boots to the test, and as always, they didn’t disappoint. Durable, comfortable and built for any terrain, they carried us through every step of this journey.
An Experience Takes Flight
One of the highlights of our trip? Lotty took us on a scenic flight over the vast wilderness. Seeing the bush from above was nothing short of breathtaking; rolling hills, winding rivers and wildlife roaming freely below. There’s something about being in the air that puts everything into perspective, reminding us why we crave adventure in the first place.
A Horseback Safari & Game Drives
Back on the ground, we experienced Limpopo in another incredible way – on horseback. Riding through the bush, surrounded by wildlife, was surreal. It’s a feeling of connection, both to the land and to the animals, that’s hard to put into words. We also explored on four wheels, heading out on a game drive where Lotty captured some incredible shots of us and the landscape.
A Shared Passion for Leather & Craftsmanship
Another highlight? Getting to try out Lotty’s brand, Pango & Linn. One of the few other brands working with vegetable-tanned leather, it’s clear that we share a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability and creating products meant to last. Seeing her work firsthand was inspiring.
