First Flight: A Love Affair with the Skies
If you know us, you’ll know that we live for adventure and trying new things, so we combined the two things we love most and hopped onboard our first flight. There’s nothing like an adventure up high!

Some adventures change you forever. This was one of them.
It was our first time in a small plane, a flight over the rugged beauty of the Cederberg Mountains. We had just moved to South Africa, ready to embrace a new chapter, and this moment, this flight, became a turning point.
Our old friend, Claudia Schotman, joined us for a photoshoot, capturing the raw beauty of the mountains, the golden light washing over the valleys and the quiet magic of the sky stretching endlessly above us. But beyond the landscapes and the adventure, something else happened that day: Leo fell in love with aviation.
Sitting in that small cockpit, feeling the hum of the engine and that initial takeoff into the air, he saw the world differently. It wasn’t just about the view, it was about the feeling of weightlessness, the endless possibilities, the freedom that comes with soaring above it all. It was at that moment that a new dream crept into his heart.
That flight was the start of something bigger, more than an adventure, it was the beginning of a lifelong love story with the skies.
